So im trying to set up some basic ignition afr and idle settings on my infinity 8.
After realising the darn thing auto compensates so well i set my ve table at idle confirmed it was good.
unplugged the throtle body to avoid variations in airflow.
and disabled lambda feedback.

looking for vacuum leeks but im also wondering
just how much vacuum is normal considering:
new not broken in motor
high lift high duration cams
oversized valves
heavily ported heads
no more VVT
CR lowered to 10:1
no more IAC, using drive by wire to adjust idle rpm
idle set to 1400...
trying to see where/how i can make sure the cam sensors are working properly
how and where i could check for misfires
check if any of the injectors/coils arent getting the proper signals
running the base coyote timing map for now
have adjusted the target lambdas (pretty much only for...
well im confused here.
the 2 connectors have proper power and ground where they need them
the canbus is connected
yet im stuck with the service advancetrack flashing in the (now useless) dash
no power steering whatsoever.
obviously cant get codes for it since theres no more ford ecu...
seems theres alot of animosity on various forums about granatelli products although im unsure its warranted when it comes to the newer stuff?
so stock coils in canada are about 90$ a piece but it would be silly to replace 3 and keep 5 old ones.
i can get the extreme pro series for what? 700...
so i was looking at the workshop manual and thats saying from the top.
for some reason i thought going from the bottom would be easiest?
ill have access to a lift and am replacing the k members the fuel system and rear end while im in there....
thoughts?
recommendations?
online how...
So here i am wondering what to do now.
Ive changed almost everything on my 2011 and well alot of the parts still need to be put in/swapped.
by the time im done im gonna have a spare motor, mt82, driveshaft, almost complete rear end, suspension, harness, ecu, fuel system, instrument cluster...
So im really wondering if im going to go with an aem infinity 8 or not and im trying to weigh the pros and cons.
I'd like some advice from you guys.
My MMR motor is complete and ready to ship, my meth injection system is still ongoing and i have a triple 465lph return style fuel system waiting...
Either in canada of willing to do remote tuning? Cant cross the border :(
Anyone run standalone efi like a bigsguff3?
Any thoughts on em? Options/pros/cons?
Well my tune gearing and tires are way off to start with but... i managed 126mph with a 2.1 60' on a no prep track.
Tires are too tall and should be bias ply. Was hoping i could get et streets to hook but i either spin like mad or bog down. 29" tall tires dont work at my current power levwl...
So i took the car to the strip.
I noticed the tune is way off for some reason.
Havent had it retuned since i did clutch trany flywheel driveshaft but i dont see why that would affect a/f?!
Anyways its running very rich at wot.
10-10.5:1
Then for some reason i powershift to fourth the car...
Kinda hard to find decent info on the subject.
Ive seen sequential injectors running off a secondary pump/fuel cell with race fuel
But id like to see info on parrallel injectors with a secondary tank of pure meth.
Would also like to see info on the efi management for such systems...
