Aftermarket ecu would really open up your options of tuning. I'd go with Holley, but only one or two ecu's will keep the cam timing. Motec can keep the timing and I think mega squirt was working on it also.

the biggest adv to an aftermarket ecu is rpm

on the injectors, what power are you going to be shooting for, and what fuel

Im hoping to go for 1200+ to the wheels.
Fuel my big problem is being in canada i cant get e85.
So premium + lots of water meth for street.
Race fuel+ water meth for track tune.
Aquamist is working on making me a custom di setup for up to 1400hp and enough flow to go full meth if needed. Will run off of injector duty cycle.

Id love to be able to hit 1k whp on street setup but i doubt itll be doable with the 10:1 cr and crap fuel.

I have 3x 465lph pumps sitting at home right now
Also running an eboost 2 to keep the boost manageable on the street.

Mmr was saying i can get an extra 1k rpm easy with aftermarket ecu. With all the head work i have im hoping it would be worth it to rev to 9 9.5k

What kind of price range would we be looking at for the ecu?

Motor is also oversized to 5.2 with promod 1500 upgrade.
Upgraded tensioners guides crank sprocket
Billet oil pump

Oversized stainless valves bronze guides upgraded seats race springs titanium retainer stage 3 porting and stage 3 turbo cams

Pretty much everythin mmr makes for these motors is on there exept the 2k mod and dry sump.

I know you said you're running blockoffs, but I did see Haltech's new ECU this weekend that will control cams.

AEM and Motec are the only two on the market currently with cam controls for 4 camshafts.

Shoot me a PM and I can get you setup with an AEM standalone system for you car. We've been running one on our 2011 and Kevin's 3v here as of late and both systems work great.

i hear the motecs are pretty epic but hard to tune? probably overkill for y purposes too as alot of the advantages ive read about where more oriented for pure race teams looking at full datalogging of..well everything imaginable.
then i saw the component prices for such logging and control and yeah....you can easily spend 10k+ just on motec stuff o_O

I mean currently you'd only be looking at around $3200 for a complete coyote standalone system with a harness for your coyote.

Soon we'll have an jumper harness ready to make it a PNP for a factory coyote harness.

It's easy to tune and comes with everything you need. There's also other sensors and options that go along with the kit that we can quote up for you.
