I have an 01 Cobra with MM CC plates, Steed Sport Springs and 01 Bilstein's currently on it (80k miles). It is a daily driver and hasn't been to the tracks in years.
I'm looking to replace them and after looking through many of the threads here I can't decide so thought I'd enlist my Cobra...
How often should it be cleaned ???
I looked at mine yesterday as I was changing my spark plugs and it looks pretty clean to me, but the car also has over 30K miles on it.
Any suggestions on when/how often and what/how to clean it ?

I used to have to clean my 89GT's TB and MAM almost monthly to keep the residue from building up. I've not done anything with my intake except clean my K&N filter once (didn't really need it either)

A friend of mine told me that before we hit the strip this weekend that I should pick up a bottle of octane boost and dump it into my car. He say's it's a sure way to pick up a bit more HP out of the engine...

I used to have an 89 Mustang GT with 3 Chamber Flowmasters on them.
I want to replace the mufflers on my 01 Cobra so that it sounds just like the previous mufflers I owned without having to replace the whole exhaust system.
Any suggestions ???
My manual says to use 5W-20. But trying to find that in synthetic is next to impossible.
Is it worth going to synthetic or should I just stick with normal oil.
Also, would it hurt the car if I used a different weight in Synthetic ??
