    Need advice on a 2008 GT500 w 3.4whipple

Came across a listing for a '08 GT500 with 3.4whipple. I live near Toronto and have wanted a GT500 since they first came out. Owner claims that the car was imported to Canada back in 2012. He also claims that the car came from N.C. and all the work and tuning was done by Leathal Performance. I...

    Goodies from Lethal

Just got these from Lethal. There is a thread about idlers grenading, so I ordered these Reichard Racing Gen2 dual bearing idlers. I'm impressed with the quality. [/IMG] Also ordered a 3" Whipple pulley for when the wife gets bored with 13 lbs, LOL. [/IMG] Like to mention that this...

    Modded the Evenflow coolant mod

I hated the heater hose look so my tuner suggested to run AN fittings and braided hose. I decided to do the coolant mod since the blower was off anyways. What do guys guys think? [/IMG] [/IMG]

    Less clunk with 14mm bolts(pics)

Got these 14mm IRS bolts from WS6JJP(John). I became sick of the clunking in the rear and decided to give the bolts a try. Compare the stock 12mm to the 14mm that should have been installed from Ford [/IMG] Place jack stand under car to support and gently support the IRS with jack [/IMG]...

    14mm Bolt p/n help

I'm sick of the clunking in the rear so I am trying to locate the correct 14mm bolts for the IRS sub frame. I called the Ford dealer and gave them a p/n I found on the net but the dealer said it does not check out. Anyone got the right p/n for the proper bolt & nut? Thanks in advance

    Going rate to install Whipple

I am almost certain about going the Whipple route. Of the owners that had theirs professionally installed, what did you pay for labor? I am talking removal of Eaton, install Whipple, 60lb ers, TB, BAP, tune. I can do it myself (tons of info here on SVTP) but is it worth my time?

    Started up the Terminator today

Well, I fired her up after about 2 months today. It was music to my ears. Let it run for 30 minutes and checked for leaks, noises, etc. Nothing. So I put her back in the garage till April. I hate winter.:cryying: [/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

    Whipple Gen 1 questions

I can get a good deal on a brand new FRPP kit that has been sitting around for a couple of years. I'm pretty sure it is a gen 1 whipple. 1) What power am I to expect by bolting it on with the 13lb pulley it comes with? 2) What else will I need to complete the install? 3) How often does...

    Reman engine question

If Ford changes an engine on warranty for a Cobra who does the reman? Does SVT have anything to do with it? It was installed in mid 2006 so does it have the updated heads? It seems my car had warranty work done at a Ford dealer but a reman was used. The previous owner was not happy with the...

    Is this possible?

Ok guys, a friend of mine claims that his Cobra vert went 11.80's at 118. The only only mods were (he claims) a 2.76 pulley, catted x, 3" catback, FIPK. I know that he can drive cause he owns/drive a 6second 10.5 car. I would be happy to believe our cars can run these numbers with so little, but...

    Tire advice

Hi guys, this is my very first post. I just bought a mint 2003 Sonic blue vert from a racer buddy of mine. He owned the car since new and just had the tires replaced before he sold it with a set of Fuzion's(275/40/17). Are these tires POS or should I keep the fronts cause I'm probably going with...
