Well, I fired her up after about 2 months today. It was music to my ears. Let it run for 30 minutes and checked for leaks, noises, etc. Nothing. So I put her back in the garage till April. I hate winter.:cryying:

Call me ridiculous, but I start mine and let it run once a week...

Two months seems like a long time to let it go (unless you've put the car into hibernation mode).

I wish it was snowing here. Snowmobiles replace the Cobra during winter. I try to start mine at least once a month.

Well for once, we are out of the cold snap.

But on the downside, it still sucks and there is still lots of snow.

April cant come soon enough!

i put mine away in november and i wont touch it untill april. starting it and letting it run just allows moisture to get around in the oil and fuel. i just let it sit.

I do agree about the moisture in the oil, that is why I let it run for 30 min. I stuff some rags in the tail pipes to keep it dry when stored.

I start mine once a month or so I let it get to operating temperature and make sure the t-stat opens and the fans kick on a couple of times. I'd drive it if the streets were nice, but we got a foot of snow yesterday in the Chicago area....but I was just content to hear it run and rev the motor a few times!
