Tire advice

Hi guys, this is my very first post. I just bought a mint 2003 Sonic blue vert from a racer buddy of mine. He owned the car since new and just had the tires replaced before he sold it with a set of Fuzion's(275/40/17). Are these tires POS or should I keep the fronts cause I'm probably going with Nitto 555 for rears. Are the factory F1's a good tire? I wouldn't know since I didn't buy it new.

F1 is a good tire. Get BFG KDW 2's.

I looked up the BFG KDW 2 but nothing in 275/40/17.

Nitto 555 Drs FTW!...just got them on the rear of mine on replicas 17X10.5 with 315/35/17

Most Mustang owners run BFG or Nitto, I run BFG KDWS tires.

I like the chrome factory wheels. If I did go with a replica 17 x 10.5 and 315's, do I need to modify anything or just bolt on?

Any one got pics (from the rear)of this setup? Does it look killer?

I have nitto 305/35ZR18's in the rear...
and bfg's up front.

Nitto 315 out back on stock 9" rim just enough bulge to protect the rim's from those aggresive curbs... no mods needed

Get the 17X10.5s like I did...here's my thread...got the IRS MM low profile bolts for piece of mind...Good luck
