Ok, i just raced a friends R1 on the freeway. I gave him the jump and took off right after and we ran dead even up from ~70mph to ~120mph. I was surprised and he did say he went complete WOT. His bike is all stock except for a rear sprocket and aftermarket chain.

Which makes more power. I know straight up with an upper only, the Stage 5 is SUPPOSED to make more power, but does the Stage 5 still make more power than the 4 when both are running a lower pulley along with an upper? Or does it lose it's edge and make basically the same power?
How much is normal? I thought the DOHC was kinda known to eat some oil between changes? I'm at 4500-5000 mi (ya, i really need to change it) and it hasn't burned ANY oil. If it did, it's defenitely less than 1/2 a quart.
This is for my Galaxie. What makes more power, a larger muffler (say 18 in.) or smaller (14 in.)? Either one will fit, both same diameter inlet/outlet.
I just installed my BAP (and wiring upgrade). My car use to max the duty cycle of the pumps @ 5500 rpm and show actual voltate to the pumps @ 12.50-12.75v. Now with the BAP set at 20%, the car is mostly ~92% duty cycle with a spike of 97% @ 5600 rpm. But otherwise, it hovers at about 92%. But...
well, i hope this thread doesnt turn into trying to talk me out of ordering it because i already did. The question has to do with the alternator. LFP said it wasnt necessary to run a larger alt pulley, but i wasn't so sure. So I ordered a 3.2 to go along with it.

The difference is basically $50. Bang for the buck, which is the better setup? This will be going on a 2.93/4# lower or 2.76/2# lower. Haven't completely decided on the pulley set up.

Ok, I've had some serious creaking on the IRS ever since I installed the complete delrin bushings kit. The creaking seems to get worse the warmer the car gets. In the morning, when it's cold, it takes a little longer for it to start creaking. it creaks on EVERY little irregularity on the road...

I have a crazy amount of squeeking from the IRS, its driving me crazy! Its been like this for about a year now! at first when i did the springs i ran no iso's. What sucks is I did the complete delrin bushings on the IRS at the same time so i dont know what is REALLY the coulprit...
