3 lb. lower question

well, i hope this thread doesnt turn into trying to talk me out of ordering it because i already did. The question has to do with the alternator. LFP said it wasnt necessary to run a larger alt pulley, but i wasn't so sure. So I ordered a 3.2 to go along with it.

Would you guys run the 3.2 on the alt, or just stick with the stocker?

I have always heard leave stock alt pulley for 2# lower, any thing more, change it., and since you already ordered it., use it imo, :thumbsup:

That's what LFP told me. But I think that was before they had the 3# available... :shrug: You might want to try it without and see how much power it's putting out...

I don't think the bigger alt pulley is for power, its for not over revving the alt and causing premature failure :thumbsup:
