How much is normal? I thought the DOHC was kinda known to eat some oil between changes? I'm at 4500-5000 mi (ya, i really need to change it) and it hasn't burned ANY oil. If it did, it's defenitely less than 1/2 a quart.

Yes im sure you have ... PCV system is going to eat a bit of oil.. but nothing major .. even if you have a catch can system the motor is still going to use a bit of oil .. nothing noticeable couple 0z every 4k miles or so
Changed it every 12 months or 2000 miles never noticed it being low.
Honestly, I run 7QTs and change the oil every 3 months like clock work. I have never noticed any lose, even when I did a blower swap the intercooler and intake where clean as a whistle.
