Replaced the alternator a while back and the charging light has been on ever since...seems it has been reseting the computer daily..problem is it now won't pass smog since it's getting flagged for recently reset computer.
Any ideas ?
I can find 07/8 but the 09 is different I'm getting ready to burn up factory alternator #3. I tried the local shop to rebuilt it for more amps but it kept giving me cel and acting ****ed up like it wasn't being properly regulated...any suggestions or someone who has had this experience and found...
Ok the light first came on and I replaced the battery...still there and i had alternator tested came up bad...rebuilt it beefed it up to 180 amp because under load was drawing 143 fanned intercooler etc i guess causing higher draw...put in the new alternator and everything tests fine but light...
