Replaced the alternator a while back and the charging light has been on ever since...seems it has been reseting the computer daily..problem is it now won't pass smog since it's getting flagged for recently reset computer.
Any ideas ?

Ahh after some searching it seems I must have an 07/08 alternator installed on my 09....does anyone make a ****ing functioning alternator for the 09s yet.
Yeah there was a change in the alts from those years :/
I finally got tired of the BS and bought a Nations.
Still hard to believe I spent that much on a friggin alternator!!
BUT I don't have dimming lights anymore and no more going through alternators hopefully.

well I've installed some components that draw a little extra juice and this was the third alternator in just over 10k miles...the stock one seems to be shit.
No it's an '07
This was the exact problem I was having... I have a radar/laser system and an aftermarket stereo and it just couldn't deal with it.
I do have an '07 alternator I'm not using, but as you've found it won't work with your '09

I don't remember which one I got for the Nations, I had to call them... there may be a thread on here for it though.
