I've had my 4 post lift for about 15 years and it's never had an issue but the paint has seen better days. Years of exposure to chemicals and road salt have taken their toll. Time to strip it down and refinish it with some more durable coatings! The before pics. Rust! More rust and peeling...

Basically they're using a production V10 block from a F350 and splicing together several sets of 4.6L 4 valve heads to make it work. Pretty amazing work so far for a couple guys in their garage. Here's a link to their channel, they've posted about 5 episodes so far...

Never seen this prototype before, looks pretty interesting. The size and power are incredible for the time. I don't think actual trucks with those specs made it on the road for at least a couple decades.

I've put together a 2018 F150 5.0 with an On3 twin turbo kit. It has the upgraded 60mm ceramic ball bearing turbos. Anyways, within 10 miles and a couple 5k rpm pulls on the base tune the drivers side turbo bearings failed and the turbo locked up. Checked the oil feed to the turbos, no issues...

A good watch. Sad days ahead for our hobby!
