Never seen this prototype before, looks pretty interesting. The size and power are incredible for the time. I don't think actual trucks with those specs made it on the road for at least a couple decades.

That's some amazing technology in that test bed. I had never heard of Big Red until this video.

It kind of reminds me of the Mammoth Car from Speed Racer.

Has a locomotive look from the front. MASSIVE! Like this European Stadler locomotive.
I liked this thread so much I ended up buying a 1966 F-600 sight-unseen. Bourbon may have played a part in it too.

Bought it, still haven't seen it. Going to check it out this week (hopefully) then make a plan to do a revive (it's been parked for 6-7 years) and drive (~125 miles back home) next week. All I had to go on was about 6 crappy pics and a pitiful description. No idea on the engine, trans, or axle. Should be fun.
Seemed like a good idea,..................wonder why it never got developed ??
