I don't know how much of this is making news outside of Canada but a convoy of truckers and regular Canadians started in the west a few days ago and is on it's way to Ottawa to protest Prince Sparkle Socks' vax mandates. The convoy has reached Western Ontario and is now 480km or 300 miles long (a world record) with thousands of people cheering them on in towns as they pass by. It may take a lot to get Canadians riled up but once it happens look out...lol! I'm 100% sure Trudeau won't have the balls to meet with the protesters though.

I had a 50' truck deliver product from Quebec two weeks ago. A couple drove it and they said they planned on staying in America and finding odd jobs as long as they could because every time they cross back into the border they are on house arrest/quarantine for 14 days. That's financial suicide for a truck whose sole job is importing Canadian goods.
Apparently Canada is a ****ing socialist mess over COVID. We currently have a 22 week lead time on our main Canadian import because they can't find people to work because the govt is giving general labor free money to stay home.

I watch some independent trucker youtube. With the trucker shortage, they should be able to stay a long time. The websites these truckers check for work always seem to be loaded.

I saw that Trudeau said that it is only 10% of truckers which if true means that there are 10m truckers in a country with a population of 25m
According to Leigh Dundas there is now more Canadian truckers protesting that is larger than the Canadian military.

As someone who frequently traveled the American west, you'd be amazed at how identical we really are. There are pockets of good and a whole lot of bad in both our countries. America HAD far more badass countrymen, long ago. Now you guys are lucky enough to still ride the backs of the constitution however long that'll last.
