if i ever built one i would make the part for the tires alot wider so i wouldnt need to be guided maybe if it would work

I would make it a little wider than 2x10's and have a 2x4 as a guide on the outter so it would be kinda hard to run it off, even if someone was guiding you on. I have all of the stuff to make mine as soon as we get our spool gun together so I can weld aluminum again, it is 2 foot high, so how long are your ramps??

You know what, anyone who has an oversized commercial type area/garage (with a tall overhead door) could build the same thing (it's portable!) and set it up in the garage when you need the lift. Much much cheaper than a lift.

That is awesome I was thinking about something like this for my shop but I was thinking of using metal. I reall like that and I wonder how much weight it could hold.
