you had the white, orange stripe 5th gen with 408 right? Nothing beats the sound of a big inch motor in these cars.

Yeah had a 416ci HKE LS3, heads/cam, longtubes, etc. Sounded killer. But it sounded really good before the stroker went in too.

The old LT1 cars sounded better with just exhaust than the LS1 cars. Jmo

My '95 Z28 had a 396ci LT1 with a nice size cam, longtubes, and 4" exhaust. Still to this day the best sounding car I ever had. Didn't have LS power but still put down 449whp plus a 200 shot on top. Enough to kill 99% of stuff on the street back in 1997.
