I like that, sounds like a sig quote.Papito once said to me at a TnT session, "You'll never truly understand building engines until you can make power N/A. FI overshadows an engines defficiency."

lightweight I beams or billets rods are the way to go for high rpm street use.
hey you think you can point me in the right direction of a company you would recommend

Oliver billets are as light as H beams and are good to 1250 hp.
i dont think i need that kind of strength will be needed.
thats true ill them up. since they are the billet are they custom and made per order?
will they hold up better then the aluminum rods as far as long as lasting? and not stretching with heat cycles?
Yeah NAZMAN has (had) the Olivers in His 539RW NA 99 Beast!!I haven't failed one yet in any our race engines. Nor in any of our customers.
anyone using a vacuum pump?
Lunati has cams with over .500 lift.
.550 lift
In reality, more like .542 lift, as they list the wrong rocker ratio.
Stalken does have a vacuum pump and it nothing to increase power for his combo. A vacuum pump isn't really a "street" mod.A guy on the corral is using a vacuum pump. Search the DOHC section for FR500 intake and you should find him. Stalken is his handle IIRC.
