I can verify that my 2013 M6 300A car with the spare tire/jack out of it but completely stock otherwise weighs in at 3515 with 1/2 tank of fuel and no driver. I'm 250 and it comes in at 3765 with me in it.
That's why I suggested he pop on a CAI now that he has officially established to everyone's satisfaction, except maybe yours, that his car runs 10's. Then again, why should he waste his time. He's already shown a power increase on his dyno. Oh wait, dyno results are crap, too.We have the facts to prove it under multiple real world tests. 1/4 mile and full mile. The crap you keep posting over there to dispute the results is laughable.
If he makes both changes at the same time how is that going to be an accurate test? He would have to make back to back runs at the track on the same day to prove any worth in it. His car being a manual, it will be difficult to keep a high level of consistency between runs as there is more opportunity for driver error. Not a dig on his driving abilities but it happens to the best of us.
No, it weighed 3605 stock w/full tank and no driver.
3615 with driver in STREET trim w/full tank.
Slicks and skinnies drop 82-84lbs and I ran on 1/2 tank when it went 10's.
I keep th car and slicks at Home.
Scales are at the shop 35miles east from home. Track is 15 miles south of home. Normally when I go to the shop I'm planning on dyno runs and therefore don't run the slicks as they act like a big balloon making it difficult to get accurate results.
Doesnt the track have a scale you could get on while you are there?
So is "STREET" trim what you ran 10's on minus 80lbs for the slicks/skinnies? So that would be 3500lbs during those 10 second runs give or take a few right?
The only reason I am trying to nail you down on an exact weight of your car is because you have done quite alot of weight reduction mods and are saying that your about the same or about 50lbs lighter then our car and I'm just trying to get a more accurate number as you know weight is a mod in and of itself.
Thanks,
JJ
Street trim minus slicks/skinnies minus 8gallons of E85 = 10 second weight +/- 15lbs since the fuel gauge may or may not be totally accurate and I gained a little weight recently.
So you'd say somewhere in the ballpark of 3480 then?

You just don't get it....
It's only money right? Go out and buy one for your car and belive it does something for performance. That s exactly what these vendors want you and others to believe.
Ron White said it best, "You can't fix stupid.".
