Run at SAR to see what ETs the car will run or trap speed? The trap (at race weight) is what will tell how much power the car is making...
To far to get 1 pass and get booted. I am not lethal that gets as many passes as they want with no roll bar. 2.5 hours for 1 pass screw that. I will wait till I get to benning and get a roll bar in it.

This is totally believable to me. I stopped reading the mod list when I got to E85 fuel. I did go back and finish reading the list though = ) E85 with a hot tune + ported intake+ weight reduction means this is totally doable. With the e85 and a ton of timing and other mods he has I'm sure this 5.0 is putting out close to as much power as my TVS charged 3V Roush.

So grats on an awesome time! I'm jealous! I'm behind you with my 3v Roush with a TVS supercharger. But in my defense my race weight is 4000 lbs, (big stereo system in the trunk and stock roush wheels on drag radials) and I run on pump gas =).

Do we have another "anomaly" or mis-speak here?

...seems as though you weren't running pump e85 but using race fuel instead.

Can't ever seem to get the truth can we? :bash:

BTW - I will be breaking the mark on pump gas.

it's the secret sauce i guess! JPC ran this on their factory sealed 5.0 and said they saw a 40 rwhp gain using the FTW e85!

One form of E85 over another is not going to make a 40HP difference on a stock-ish coyote engine.

Going from 93 pump to FTW E85....with a stock Coyote....maybe 40HP.

You don't know much about oxygenated fuels.... 40? ...no. A tenth possibly 2 is absolutely within the realm of possibility and what I picked up with my '85 Fox body back in the '90's vs. a non-oxygenated race fuel.

This isn't something to gloss over unless you fall into the category of, "He said so and I believe him.".

This forum can **** right off
He posted E85. If the FTW is E85, WGAF?

Probably because he previously posted "And I fill up before driving to the track (15miles away).", He claimed he ran a 10 with a full tank of fuel, and that this makes his car heavy. Now, does anyone pay for the extra performance of $33 per gallon fuel, and then ruin it by making the car carry a bunch of extra weight?

At $33 a gallon, it better make power.

At that price it is hard to imagine using it for every race, but since I'll be racing in a class that limits turbo size my curiosity won't let me go without putting at least one pale of it down the pipe to see what it gains.
