GREAT races, but I honestly expected for the GT500 to still pull away with the win, albeit more slowly. I can't believe it only took a 50 shot, a bit of exhaust work and a tune to beat on a stocker '11 GT500...! Dang these new 5.0's are an amazing accomplishment for Ford.
LMAO That 2011 GT deserves mad respect. Whether he was my friend or not, I would be pretty pissed if I were the GT500 owner.
Nice runs. Is the Grabber 500 the same guy that had the Grabber 10' with all of the mods? Run that car over to VMP and have him swap out the blower for his TVS, and 4hrs later he will be making 675+!

yup on stock manifolds, colder non projected plugs, and heavy ass 19s. Woulda been 420s with normal plugs and not so heavy wheels, id bet.

Damn, each time i see these new 5.0's i get more and more turned on by them. I would love to have one with full bolt-ons and a 150 shot. would be hard to **** with. The new 5.0 is definitely changing the game in the same way the LS1 did back in '98-'02 F-bodies.
whats amazing here is that it only took a 50 shot for a 2011 GT to pull on a 2011 GT500. I think bang for buck the 2011 GTs are the best thing out there in muscle car land right now.
Good races. Shelby had cameraman as well so I bet he had you by 400+ lbs. Seems like the tuned lightning could have used a little tuning on his trans. Shifts seemed pretty slow.
yeah, he got about a 40-50lb advantage in the passenger game and about 20lbs adavangtage on drivers.
the passenger in the 5.0 cant lay off the ho hos. lol jk
