Just got a message from my Ford store in my dealer group, asking me if I wanted my name on the new shelby for 24. I told them there wasnt a 24 coming as far as I was aware. It was from my sales manager, who got it from the GM, who was called by their ford rep. He wasn't part of the call, but is...
Got my first taste of the new 500's yesterday, when I brought my 21 home! Same dealer that took the order for my 22 heritage edition, had this twister orange one coming in, and wasn't spoken for. After talking turkey on it, I pulled the trigger. I don't have a guarantee that they will accept my...
So i've really had my heart set on a 23 GT500, but now it seems like things might get interesting in 23. I keep hearing the S650 chassis will be revealed for all 23 mustangs. But I also keep hearing that there will be no 500 for 2023! It's SVT's 30th anniversary, and I just can believe that they...
Tried searching around but didn't dig anything up on this.
Got 3 struts in my possession that have the wires for the electronic damping broke off at the base of the struts. Anyone have any clue on if this is repairable on the DIY side of things? There isn't enough wire left to get ahold of for...
I'm looking to pick back up on Smokie, and get things going. I'll post a picture of the engine bay, but I need most everything for the front of this car. It will be a lot easier to post what I dont need for it, as its a much shorter list! The car is a 2013.
DONT NEED:
Engine harness
Injector...
So I just got done putting in my new Mantic twin disk clutch, and I really meant to order a shifter before I did the install, cause obviously that would have been easier and the smart thing to do, but got busy and spaced it. After having it all out, the bushings on the shifter are shot, as can...
Grabbed myself a nice 18 GT350 with 4800 miles on it a couple of weeks ago. Looking to daily it, without doing much for mods since my 500 is already over 700whp.
I plan on a fresh oil change in the spring so I can see if shes eating oil or not. But what are the "must do" mods to make a nice...
As much as I bleed ford blue with 7 ford vehicles in the yard, I jumped ship on a new truck. I work at a GMC store now, and of course the attractive pricing definitely helped, but the constant ribbing to rep what I sell took over some.
Meet the all new 2020 AT4HD. This one is a full tilt job...

Started the long tube install today. I was alone for the majority of it, but had a lift to use. Got the k member dropped and both manifolds out before help arrived. Heres a few pics of the adventure. Got about 8 hours in it at a slower pace. Had phone calls and a trip around town to find a screw...
Wishing all you guys and gals and whatever else you may identify as today, a happy and safe 4th to you and yours! Anyone have some awesome plans???
I'll be testing out my new cup 2's tomorrow, and then some adventures with my girls of some sort. My mother flys into Maine tonight from Florida...
Ok boys and girls, I'm looking for some help. Now that my suspension is up to handling the power my car has stock, its time to turn up the wick!
Keep in mind that I daily the hell out of this car. I've got over 5k miles in this year since the snow left in April. So my goal is great power, with...
So it took an extra month or two to finally get my suspension all installed, but its all done now. This is definitely how the Shelby should have come from the factory! Here's what went into her the other day.
-Whiteline adjustable upper and lower control arms
-Whiteline relocation brackets
-RTR...
First nice warm day of spring here in central maine, so I got to unload her from storage and put 80 or so miles on her. What a blast! 5 months without driving her damn near made me go crazy.
Rolling into first, setting her sideways, rolling through 2nd to 4500, and slapping her loose again...
Wow did my white car come out nice!!! I've very very please with how it all came out. The pics don't do the car any justice at all. It's by far better than when she came off the showroom. It's hard to make factory paint have a nice smooth finish, and this guy did a good job of getting there...
Well, the adventure has already started, so I guess I might as well start a thread on my second save. I'm going to post this really quick, and save the next few response spots so it stays organized. Ill start building it today, while loading up pics and what not.
Cheers!
It's almost hard to...
I think it was @Norton that had recommended some LED lights from these guys for fog light options on our cars. After browsing around on their page, I found a full HID swap kit. It was reasonably priced compared to a quality LED kit they offered, so I grabbed it. I opted to get the HD wiring kit...
So I put a lowball offer in on the burned car, and ended up winning it unexpectedly yesterday. So I'm trying to put together a cannonball run together for this weekend to go get the car.
But what I'm going to need is an engine bay harness and other misc engine parts and sensors. I'll put a...
I think its time to throw some more HP at the Shelby. I like the VMP guys and their tuning capabilities from what I'm reading on here.
I'm thinking if I can make the $$$ make sense, this is what i'd like to do. But I'll take some advice!
Love the Stainless works long tubes, with high flow...
Putting some new hardware into my 2011 F-150 Larriat Limited that has the Sony audio and Nav. Since I'm keeping the Nav, and sync and as much of the other factory options as I can, I've got some work ahead of me.
The Plan:
I've ordered the PAC AP4-FD11 system with the extra harnesses for the...
