Just reading this thread, having been away from SVTP for a few years. Nice to see the solid analysis and shared knowledge here. FWIW, my Speedhut "fix" is still working find, having been installed well over 10 yrs ago.

You can probably just move the inverter from the new cluster over to your original. I just bumped my old thread on repairing the failed inverters using the Speedhut inverter. It should take just a minute to remove the back cover and swap over the inverters.

Sorry for the bad info.. Its actually a 2012 Mustang with a 3.7L motor, auto.. Car has ~200k miles, so its out of warranty.
