Congrats. Been considering giving my car up for a while. It needs a paint job and very very minor bodywork (few small pea size dings, no actual dents) but is mostly stock. Door panels just now showing signs of wear. Slightly noticeable but not bad.
Nonstock items are the ac compressor, alt...
R888Rs need to be at 160-220°F for optimum operating temps. They need nearly as much of a burnout as a DR to get sticky. They will not, of course, be as sticky as a true DR but they're decent.
Termis aren't DDs for many people so getting rid of them for a good profit makes sense at this point in time. I suspect this may not be the case in six months given how high priced everything is, it's unsustainable.

Just wanted to point out that Todd Warren is still contributing to the mod motor community in meaningful way and it helps us all.
The build is pretty basic so no super crazy parts but...
I don't understand why motorists have to give a damn about morons who walk in the road.
I suppose you can say "iTs AbOuT tHe KiDs YoU mOnStEr!" but my parents taught me that roads are for cars, not people. They also taught me to look both ways when crossing the street.
If you walk your ass...
the best part about this car is the 2.2 engine. it had a cosworth head and fully forged rotating assembly. Mahle supplied the pistons, Crane supplied the cam specs but apparently they were made in italy. the rods came from a mfg called Casar, im not familiar with them, european mfg i guess. the...
those two oils are the same oils at any temp that matters to an engine. if anything, the 15w40 will have less VIIs in it vs the 5w40 so itll be a little less prone to shearing down in high heat and longer oil drain intervals.
also, T6 5w30 is REALLY thick for a 30w. its practically a 40w...
my vert is nowhere near as nice as the OP's car. shes got 93K on it and while the interior is pretty ok, she has a fr500 repro wheel and and TMI pro chicane seats. it needs a paint job pretty bad and the body has a very very minor dings here n there. i also need to replace a motor mount.
i...
Apparently I'm the the minority here in regards to the Blackwood. I think it's ugly as hell and nothing more than an insulting, badge engineered F150 with reduced functionality in ever way.
Lincoln couldn't be bothered to put real wood in the interior for a $52,000 truck and used an F150 dash...
This is a software limitation due to tuning. Nissan/Infiniti's 7AT has a similar problem due to the TCM. It's extremely conservatively tuned.
Manuals win out on track mainly because of weight, reliability and heat management. There is also a drivetrain efficiency to consider. A manual car is...
87 is ~$3.09/g and 91-93 is $3.49/g.
I absolutely despise the huge price spread and the company's BS excuse about more vehicles using premium than before. It's an obvious lie and nothing more than a cash grab that's been accepted by the public.
How is that not illegal in the state already? Weird. I bet there will be homeless, hairy armpit women with back hair and smooth shaven dudes with man buns picketing the race, telling you how horrible of a person you are for attending it.
So, I get that the car was being ridiculous but at the same time, the left lane isn't there for you to sit in nor is it there for you to be some sort of vigilante asshole. At that point, you're no better than they are and just as dangerous.
I guess I'm saying is that what I see is two...
its too chunky in the fender area closest to the windshield and the nose is a little high. im pretty sure that has to do with the silly european laws stating that vehicles cant hurt people when they wander out in the street like the morons they are.
Go get your car realigned. That shop most likely did a "toe n go", where they only actually check/change toe angle and send it out the door as long as the rest of it is "close enough".
Your caster is definitely out of range, off nearly a full degree. That should be enough to notice and could be...
