the best part about this car is the 2.2 engine. it had a cosworth head and fully forged rotating assembly. Mahle supplied the pistons, Crane supplied the cam specs but apparently they were made in italy. the rods came from a mfg called Casar, im not familiar with them, european mfg i guess. the turbo was an IHI unit.
it made like 200hp/220tq in 1989. not bad for the era. you could only get it with a 5 speed. interestingly enough, it was a no cost option upgrade.
