It has been a very long time since I have posted here but I thought I would share some shots I just got a few minutes ago. They are taken with a Nikon D90 and various lenses and settings. I have some of with the speed6 in it but I am going to edit those a little bit before I post them...
Well the city fireworks were cancelled for this evening but some of the locals set off some fireworks. Fortunately I had my camera set up and I was able to get some decent shots. The city should put on their display tomorrow night so I will update this thread tomorrow with more pics...
Well my new interest is in off camera lighting. So I have been doing a lot of reading on the strobist site. So here are my first attempts at lighting a black car while trying to balance the ambient light.

Well I finally got around to getting some new shots of the 6 with my brothers charger. Ive had the 6 for about a three weeks now and I absolutely love it. I have no regrets in trading in the GT for it. Anyway onto the pics.

My brother and I went out for the annual cruise night here in Abilene, so I decided to take the camera out there and see what kind of shots I could get. These are my best shots.

Here are a few new shots with the D40 and a new 50 mm f1.8 lens. This 1.8 is such a sharp lens and I would highly recommend it to any Nikon user. Comments welcome.
