Local Fireworks Display (Nikon D90)

Well the city fireworks were cancelled for this evening but some of the locals set off some fireworks. Fortunately I had my camera set up and I was able to get some decent shots. The city should put on their display tomorrow night so I will update this thread tomorrow with more pics. Enjoy:banana:

The camera was on full manual with about an f8 and 6 second shutter speed.
ISO 200 shot in raw and adjusted in lightroom.

camera in custom vivid mode. No adjustments to large Jpeg files.

Man, those are some awesome pics! Saw some lesser fireworks last night and took a couple of shots with the iPhone camera. Not worth keeping. LOL! You have to love a good DSLR camera/lens combo for great photos. :thumbsup:

With my D40 I shot at F/11 and shutter was mostly open for 8 seconds.

Don't cry. I was just trying to keep all the new (duplicate) threads down to a minimum. How many firework topics do we really need. Man, you can NEVER please everyone. I even complimented his photos first. :bash::bash::bash::bash::bash::bash::bash:
