Sorry to tell ya bud but that is no lie... why the **** would i wanna make some shit up ? what do i have to gain out of giving the facts and opinions ? getting another customer to GH ? and how the **** will that benifit me ? it won't, their is no reason whatsoever for me to lie.Not one.And like i said before im not making this up.I know ya'll do good work, and hell im proud of seeing all these cars come out right, but theirs some that do and some that don't.Dont let the truth hurt anything man.Argue with my Opinion... go right ahead
I have read negative posts about HPP before and the final formula boils down to someone who has a vendetta or alternative motive. Mostly has to do with a burning unrequieted dislike for success. It is obvious to see the majority of positive posts and no backup from the negative that something is without merit and no validation. I have seen HPP fix problems at their own expense from people who have abused their cars after being modified or repaired so I can not agree with the above fellow's "opinion" of "facts" from an unknown or made up source. Just my opinion.

Well, my car has been at Gear Heads since January and other than them taking longer than expected for the build, everything has been just peachy. Travis is a good guy, he'll tell you how it is and won't b.s. you. He's been working on my car since he was at USA Motorsports and I trust him to work on my car. But the real test is to see how my car holds up after the build. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted...

But just for the record, I have heard the story about a car coming from HPP with blown stock internals. I don't know details and I haven't talked to the owner so I can't talk bad about either party.

My advice is, take your car to a shop and if you are treated good as a customer and your car treated right, continue to take it there. Once you are treated bad or you're not happy with your car, leave and never go back. And also just for the record, I will NEVER return to Speedtek Performance in Haltom City... :)

HPP has always been good to me. Im pretty stoked about taking the Cobra to them now since they steered me right on the Roush. Glad I only live about 10 miles from them. Love the new shop.

Sounds like some one is trying to spread some rumors (Not necesarily you). Earlier 4stang6 said it was his friend and he even pulled the motor from it at his work. Yet he still has not provided a name, any details, or any facts to those crazy accusations. Sounds like now he is going to try to find out some details. Sounds like you heard a story of this car being where your car is being worked on?
Maybe a car blew with stock internals, but that is probably the extent of the truth and that story.

Good luck with your build!

I've probably had more work done on a single mustang than anyone here. Many motors, every KB and Whipple made, Nitrous, and every mod you can think of except turbos....

Every bit of it was done by HPP. Every invoiced item and work was always there without exception.

Want a shop where you know you are getting what you pay for? HPP

Want a shop where they know the answers to your questions from experience? HPP

Want a shop where you can roll up your sleaves and take an active roll in your upgrades, or just sit back and watch? HPP

Want a shop where when you roll out, you can completely trust the mods and work? HPP

Who helped me take a stock 03 Cobra and turn it into a world record setting land speed racing machine? HPP

I just got a brand new Shelby GT500. Where will I take it come mod time? HPP

What else can I say?

HPP

I think some of these people are getting their facts wrong. If it is the car I'm thinking of and it probably is. This was an 03-04 Cobra sold to a guy from one of those Co. that sells a bunch of cobras. I think it was the one that use to sell NTN a lot of their cobras, not too sure on it though. But he had some issues with it and took it to your shop for something, trans problem I think. Well later on he came in the GHP with some more problems and they found that the car had a bad flywheel but the funny part is that the motor was a stock gt motor in an 03 cobra. Who ever had it before swapped the motors out or blew it and replaced it with a stock GT shortblock and got rid of the car, and it was sold to this guy like that. Basicly he got the shaft from the dealership that sold him the car. I do believe he blew the motor very quickly and the dealership that sold him the car wouldn't do anything about it. So basicly he got ****ed but it wasn't by any shop.

BTW you know anyone that needs some bad ass blower cams Comp XE274BH that we can make a trade for a set of custom Turbo cams?

Well, thank you for all the input guys. My visit was excellent and Manny did a great job re-tuning my car, it is now running very well. I will be sure to go back to HPP for any questions or problems.
Glad to hear it. Manny knows his stuff for sure.

Selling someone a motor with certain internals then it not having them. Is not the same as saying one car didn't turn out the way you planned.
That story is a LIE, it may not be you that made it up, but it is as much a LIE as there is. That never happen. Since you know the details lets hear the guys name and I will pull up the invoice.
I know all to well how carma works, to ever try to rip anybody off like that. We have been doing the same thing for 10 years and growing every year with no advertising. It's thru word of mouth with happy customers. I may have had a car not turn out right but never a single one that was sold stuff then not get it. That is stealing. I don't do it, I know how angry thieves make me.
With as much as these motors cost I wouldn't be surprised to see someone get seriously hurt from trying to pull something like that.

I know nothing about the current conversation, but I do know that most my friends take their cars to HPP and if there has ever been an issue Manny has made it right. I honestly don't think Manny would intentionally f*ck someone.

HPP is the best there is for any mustang especially 03/04 Cobras! Been there quite a bit after being 100% screwed over multiple times with multiple vehicles at gearheads. Maybe it was just me there. I’ve seen some decent cars come from gearheads, but me and my friends experiences there were terrible. I will never go back. HPP has been by far the best in every aspect I can think of. Pricing is fair, customer service is outstanding, and the results are incredible! Some of the fastest and well built Cobras come from HPP.

mail order tunes ? yea your retarded..... just like saying HPP does mail order tunes ... i have been dealing with GHP for a very very long time and have spent quite a bit of money with them.Travis is a good damn tuner and i wouldn't let no else touch my car.
If you have a tuner you can get your car Dyno Tuned for i believe 200 dollars their at GHP.
People always run into problems with different shops... some people have good luck, some have bad.
My friend had his motor built for boost at HPP and ended up putting a D1SC on it pushed 428rwhp on low boost... ended up blowing the motor 100 miles down the road .... my friend brought it to my work where i took the motor out and found out that it had factory internals STILL after paying HPP an assload of money
anyways whoever you choose i hope you get treated well ...
