What happened to BBR??? Weren't they one of the original shit talkers?

No sword in this fight right now. Doing our own thing and have no reason to give involved in this thread just like other vendors.

Bbr can't do anything. That single can't put a number up and they won't eat the crow to install the twin kit.

I wouldn't say this at all. We have our twin car that's being worked on and we have installed numerous ones on others as well as sold many more. But again. We are doing our own thing. Just like you and your kit. And I can honestly say I wish yours the best.

on that note. Congrats to JPC for bringing the turbo to the front.

Seeing their results, it makes me wonder IF the boss 302 intake is beneficial with boost at all..
would love to see some back to back dyno or track results on stocker vs boss 302... but that's probably a topic for another thread.

depends on the rpm your taking it too.

I'm guessing now the question would be...
Would it not have been more benefitial for JPC to rev that car to the moon with the boss manifold, and knowing that turbos love RPMs instead of using the stock manifold and lowering the RPMs?

The limiter is set at 8200 on the factory computer. Car shifts around 7700-7800.

I don't know if it would really be beneficial running that with the glide though. Being it has 2 gears, that means they would be running 1st gear for that much longer, which might be slightly detrimental depending on where the shift points are now moved to down the track. How much loss in TQ is questionable too, which probably won't matter much at the numbers they make.

An average of boost now? Really? LOL Knife to a gunfight and use a dull edge as an excuse.

I don't have any excuses, the car has performed great for 3 years now.

we are trying to make everything work with a new combo, new heads, new cams, and it takes a minute to sort things out.

jpc had a a year or 2 to sort out their turbo kit, I think i'm entitled to more than 2 track outs to get a new combo dialed in.

in the competition itself, evo won with justins green car, Justin finished 2nd with his silver car

my best ended up being a 9.0@166, that was with a 1.76 60' :(

Justin went 8.8's I think, but went 8.8's, jeff with the other jpc turbo car went 11.1's I think?

not sure the other times

Justin (JPC car) beat me
Slagburn took out Deuce
Evo Silver Car took out Beef
Evo Green car had a bye I think? Not sure if the F1 car was around

Evo Green Car beat Slagburn
Evo Silver car takes the win as the JPC car blew a fuse and wouldn't start in the staging lanes

Evo Green Car beats Evo Silver Car.

team orders.....

lol

:)

LOL, no orders here! I even treed him! lol. I had a bad weekend racing myself, between blowing the tires off every pass and then pushed through the clutch. So it goes with racing.

Had a blast though and was definitely pretty cool to be in the KOTS and be able to participate in the 5.0 shootout. Fun time meeting everyone and seeing old faces.

Special thanks to Eric and Justin from JPC for all of the support over the weekend racing and with the KOTS deal.

You had three years to sort out your blower. You mean setup? It took their first outing w the new tranny to go 8's and second outing to 8.0's.

Take as long as you need to sort it out. The circles won't stop being run. You poked and poked at turbos. Turbos poked back this weekend

I didn't say I had to sort out blower, I said I had to sort out the new "combo" I think "combo" could be referred to as "setup"

I specifically referenced heads and cams.

we are trying to make everything work with a new combo, new heads, new cams, and it takes a minute to sort things out.

yep, that's what I said, I don't see the word blower in there anywhere....

We'll put a similar trans in our car, and see what she does.
