I don't understand why it would be a limited run. Its a business and if he could do this w/out breaking the bank, why not sell as many as possible. I just thought it was limited for this year cause its so new and he is still finishing up the design and etc.??If its going to be close to the price of a TS though, I'm not sure many would buy it unless they just want to stay with the eaton. (is there some kind of factory stock class for our cars?)

There is no such thing as bad publicity. None of the dart throwers understand how marketing works. Now even if people hate on the product, it will just bring more attention to it. Steig. is just employing some old school marketing here. Good Job

My impression is that this a fairly labor intensive procedure and since they're doing this for the GT500 as well, they will limit their offerings for the remainder of 09. Now, if this thing takes off, MAYBE they'll reconsider their stated run.
Matt, if this procedure has the same relative improvements on a higher boosted Eaton as they are stating for an OEM pullied Eaton, I would not be dissappointed to be the one selected to receive the free one!!!

If this works, it would nice to be the only Canadian with this blower! I know Im really at a disadvantaged for high elevation tracks and limited season, but after seeing the Times on IronTerps list...It gives me incentive to do more with the Eaton.

Stiegemeier wants to completely change the way everyone looks at the factory Eaton with this new port by letting the guys who will shatter the records have first dibs and make a name for it. I understand that, but my money is just as good as anyone else. Why not have all of this testing done (with people who have already been selected) before going public with it? If this port has been under considerable R&D for a while now what's the deal? It just seems to me that someone in Stiegemeiers marketing/sales department is putting the cart before the horse. Hopefully I'll be eating my own words soon.
Dwight, if this new blower is as nasty as their building it up to be, you might need to start a 9 second Eaton-only list!

i submitted my application a few minutes ago. im very excited to here more about this. i want one on my car for the track this fall! my car should be a good candidate for it. full weight aggressive track setup.

Matt, I don't thing Bob and Robyn are trying to change the image of the Eaton, but are offering a high end option for serious Eaton enthusiasts. This offering will not be for everybody, either from a setup standpoint or from a pricing range. And while your money is as green as everyone else's, your setup and goals may not be. But, never can tell......
And, the Stegemeier's are porters by trade, not necessarily marketing, public relations or internet posting specialists. This is how they've decided to introduce their newest product. Looking forward to more information.
how do they decide whose more aggressive and who isn't? some of us are going faster on less (kinda) i mean my fuel upgrade is not there for what might be the "serious" competitors, but i am as serious as anyone on being the fastest Eaton car...

I want to stick with the Eaton but I sure as hell am not a record holder or anything. I would be down for this if you can really make 500/500 on the stock pulleys. Looks like I'm SOL for now though.
So is this gonna be a TVS style high helix rotor pack upgrade or something like that? Where is the sign up list for the freebie, sounds like its the only way i could afford this thing and im trying to set mine up as a max effort ported eaton.
