Basically you can do it like a kit car.01 Venom said:maybe it depends on the state quad?
mangemd said:Yeah, that the way I understand it too. That's the way most of the 67-69 Camaro/67 Mustang Fastback bodies are going to be titled...like a kit car. Nice thing about building one for yourself from the ground up like that is that you know exactly[\b] what is in the car, and the quality of the work done.
True, but I am still putting the snake emblems on it.01 Venom said:Thats all well and good, I would never knock the fact that you built a quality car yourself. Trust me I am all for working and perfecting your own car. But the cruel reality is, you will not ever make it into a "real" cobra.
You see the same thing with classics, you take a 6 banger and make it an SS, right down to the smallest detail. You can not sell or claim it to be an SS because it simply isnt.
But Ford didn't build it on the assembly line.Sprayed_Pony said:it's not a Cobra it's a Mustang

This stuff kind of cracks me up.
I probably spent enough to buy almost 2 Cobras developing this car,
and it's not even finished yet.
All hardware and parts are Genuine Ford (99% are new)
except for the upper intake and a couple other minor items.
Either way, Cobras are cool, Mach 1's are cool, Cobra "R"'s are cool, etc.
It's not a Mach 1, it ain't a GT, not a V6.
The only engine that has ever run in the car is the 5.4 32V.
The only interior it ever had was Cobra (last of the FRPP seats).
To me, it's a Cobra.

i prefer going badge-less unless its a dead-on clone. no need to get heated over how other ppl want style their cars.
Maybe, but it's newer than yours.quadcammer said:to you, it could be a ferrari. That doesn't make it a cobra to anyone else.
pretty much, its a kit car.
