well I had a good day off of work today.. a very good day....

first ups came

Long tubes
Ypipe
PCM fan shroud with relays
fans
upgraded power/ground harness

i went basement hunting and found some good stuff. i found a ton of just crap in boxes. gauges I have like 6 more and a huge tach and shift light. no idea where they all came from. even found two wide bands lol

so i messed with ideas for hiding the nitrous bottle. I really wanted to hide it inside the rear plastic in the wheel well is but there just isnt enough space.. so I already had a bracket and heater laying around I think its going here

now gauge ideas. I have no idea where to put them. a TBSS has a different dash and no one makes pods for this stupid thing.. might just mod a pillar to fit them, maybe hide them in the arm rest, i dunno

then my phone rings... my machine shop... its done... a week early

so i ran and got her home.

im starting to clean up some basic stuff.

I still need my front Dif back from getting a once over and new seals... then its a long weekend with some friends and lots of beer

It was essentially a Trailblazer/Envoy/Rainier with a Saab nose and interior. Same engines and everything (4.2L I-6 or 5.3L V8).

yup and even a very very few. I think 200 or so, they made the "Aero" which came with the 6.0 stock

Front dif gone through new bearings seals and gaskets. not bad for a $75 rebuild

I found one corvette NPP muffler laying around the shop that one of the guys was going to throw away.. trying to think how I can make that work. if not, im just going to run the long tube headers and ypipe with stock catback hoping it will be quiet. i wanna be sleeper status as much as possible.

This thing is going to be badass. Can't wait to see videos of it in action. Looking forward to updates. :rockon:

Headers and front dif on. I am trying to add the trans cooler while the motor is out and hoping summit pulls through with overnight shipping for the lines and fittings I need. Then I'm hoping to get valvetrain on sat and shooting to get it atleast in the car this weekend.

I think you own about 50% of the total production of those things. Also, that engine appears to be a victim of over-maintenance.

Funny you said that. I have yet to ever see one on the road. Never even knew Saab made an SUV.
