So im bored as hell. Sold my turbo trex, sold my big hp Evo and my HCI nitrous C6Z06. I have nothing fast besides two skis. im grumpy and then this thing shows up at my work.

yup a Saab... 2008 80K awd but .............it has a 5.3L in it.... well it was running on 7 cylinders when they pulled up. I ended up picking it up as a idea to make a cheap undercover TBSS or SRT killer. So I got her home and messed around with it for a few days. quick compression test..

so that created this weekend in the garage

then this showed up... 6.0

didnt really like the looks of it. but it was cheap enough. dropped it off at machine shop.. ugh..

so now its getting a Fully forged 370c.i, refreshing the 799 heads and reusing my LS7 cam with LS2 timing setup. Also I picked up brand new long tubes and Ypipe off facebook, pcmofnc oil pump pickup tube relocation kit, spal fans setup and im reusing most of my nitrous kit from my C6z (going 200 shot)

motor should be back in 2 weeks ready to go in. this year I plan to keep it cheap project that will surprise a lot of people. I think it will make a fun DD. thinkin about a whipple next year ontop if the trans holds up.

I will keep this thread updated. I know its nothing crazy. its a low budget project im kinda excited about.

lol my budget is 6 grand all in.. including the price of the vehicle itself. not including a blower. but motor and mods and basically free nitrous kit are going to be under 6 grand. im at 5200 including everthing i have for it including the motor build.

Yup they have 3 models 4.2, 5.3 and a very very few aero models came with 6.0 factory. All are the same drivetrains as a tbss and almost everything for a tbss bolts directly onto them, Tuning is just the same as well.

Interior is a little nicer and it has a weird cool factor I think. Can't wait to find some used 20in tbss wheels lol.

I think you own about 50% of the total production of those things. Also, that engine appears to be a victim of over-maintenance.
