update:
while installing the front driveshaft, it was hitting the drivers header. so I had to pull that out and make a few "adjustments" to it. that took a few hours. kinda sucked. also threw a new ujoint in while it was apart. got the trans cooler plumbed and in its final mounting place. and I got the new msd plug wires done and they no longer touch the headers along with lokar dip stick is done. taking a half day today at work (mental health day) and im gonna try to get the Ypipe, crossmemeber and whatever else I can get done. I gotta get this thing done ugh...
lol thought about doing a stall while it was out. but its a 6l80 trans super weak I dont want to kill it so fast. oh it has a LS7 cam in it already lol taking another half day today from work. Im on a warpath on this thing!
Love this. Just had a buddy finish a stout 408 build for his 07 TBSS. HPTuners should be showing up in the next few days so we can start dialing it in. His is far far from sleeper status though. Please film some reaction videos for us.
LOL im actually excited about finishing this thing up finally. My buddy came over and gave me a hand cranking down the crank bolt and wired up the Efans into the ecu. just fluids and a once over and my tuner (andrew from CSP) will be over this week. hoping to drive it to work on monday lol
And she runs. Sorry I have been so busy. Got a new job and been insane working. It runs and drives still needs a little Tuning but I've pit about 100 miles on her so far. Very happy is sounds great. Can't wait for full throttle.
pulled a long late cold night at complete street peformance got it street tuned finally. Now its going to be my DD for awhile.
found this little issue.
after we threw a new plug it, it ran perfect. Very happy with this little build.
I picked these up last night. bigtime craigslist score. 22in TBSS replicas with tires mounted/balance and TPMS AND 2 extra brand new tires. Im going to throw them on and see how they look. I might powdercoat them or I might trade someone for 20s. I just couldnt pass up for the price.
