We took the Redeye out yesterday for some testing in the swamp. 87°, 2239' DA
OSW just plain works. Prep is second to none.
That said, this car just works. First pass he 'babied it' out of the hole, to a 1.35 60'.
2 more passes saw a 1.29 and a 1.30 (vid below).
Best for the day was a 9.55 @ 142. Same trim it went 9.29 in over the winter.
2.75 upper, ID1300s, Fore system, E85, Diff brace, and wheel/tires are only mods from stock.
Full interior, 2 subs and an air pump in the trunk, cup of coffee in the cup holder.
Stock intake, blower, longblock, exhaust (including cats!), trans, converter, etc.

That’s moving for sure, and in the heat. Impressive.

What do similarly modded 6sp cars run?
Prepost edit: nevermind, legitimately forgot these are auto only.

Isn't the redeye suppose to be the lightweight better handing version?

That Redeye is wicked! Congratulations on the great pass in hot weather. I like the paint color and the graphics.

Nothing lightweight about it, lol.
It is supposed to be the 'better handing' version of the Hellcat/Demon world, but it does really good going straight with a quickness.

If that?
$2500 wheels/tires (nobody goes fast without them)
$2500 fuel system and injectors
$300 pulley
$500 diff brace?
Maybe $6K all in?
Maybe you are thinking of Viper Tax :)

Show me where you a got a set of weld RTS and new tires for 2500 and I’ll buy a set right now.

my last set was north of 4k
