Nice.
Should be better than ever. Good luck with the build Ray.

Looking forward to the final outcome. Thanks dude.

Hmmm......sucks, but you are improving things. CT needs more ethanol too!!! Haha

If we had E85 in CT I probably wouldn't be in this situation right now haha. Hopefully one day so I can crack 1000 rwhp.

Sorry to hear about your motor woes, Ray, but it looks like you found a really great solution. Is Jannetty doing the work?

Thanks Bob, and yes, the car is at Jannetty Racing in Waterbury.

Just got a text from Ted,

“Just about wrapped up with the cam kit ! Rockers get bolted on next n we’re ready to begin assembling the car.”

Also going to have them service the rear diff, and flush the brake fluid. They also pinned the crank on the new motor today. I should be getting my valve covers tomorrow.

I figured it was at Ted's. Sounds like he's got that assembly going in overdrive. I'm looking forward to hearing your comments after your first drive.

Op, I love the subtle fender flares. What brand is it? I'd 100% go this route if I didn't have a WB HC.
They're made by Phillips Performance and are called the "Lil' Devil Flares". I absolutely love them! It looks so damn clean and OEM. Bill Phillips is a great guy too!

it blew a HG with just a lower?

what......

That's what I said haha. I've heard nightmares of gas stations diluating 93 with lower octane fuel. Not sure if I was running shitty fuel while doing lots of highway pulls lol. Who knows...

I drove by Jannetty's this afternoon and there was a black Challenger parked out front, but it couldn't have been yours since they're still working on it in the garage.

Well, the build is done! I am super happy with the outcome of this entire build.

The new engine was broken in on the dyno, and a lot of the drivability tuning was done with the old gas (5 months old) that was in the car. We then filled it up with fresh 93 & torco, changed the oil right on the dyno and let her eat.

The car put down 799 rwhp on Jannetty Racing's superflow dyno. I believe peak torque was 690 ft lbs at around 3000ish rpm's.

I need to put a video together with all of the clips I got of the pulls. The car sounds so mean. I am super happy with the sounds and final outcome. Here are a few pics.

I drove the car home Thursday and the weather wasn't the greatest. Monday I need to give her a well deserved wash.
