Is this thread still about a build?

Is any build really ever "done?" I bumped the thread because with just over a day left, Tom was losing in the above mentioned facebook contest. If he wins, he'll be featured in ads for FOXTOVERFEST 2013. If anyone deserves it, it's Tom, not some Joe Blow with a stock looking vert rolling on 4 lug cobra r's. This fox is amazing and should be featured.

Thanks guys. Being I can't make FoxtoberFest, I wanted to give away the premium parking spot that I won for the show to someone that was planning on going. I guess they decided they wanted to keep it, so I can't do that. But thanks for the support.

Stay tuned, in a month or so, gonna be jump back in on this project.

Yup, pretty much took some time off to build a car for my wife. Her car is pretty much done, won best in show at her first show and now we have just been enjoying it.

But with that, that means that project pace car will be starting again soon to be ready for 2015.

Toss up some pics of the wife's car!

Well it won't be appreciated by many on this forum because its not a mustang but my wife loves it and its her way to be in the hobby. Which is more than most can say about their women. Its a 1979 Rabbit with a 1.5 diesel aka Smokin Hare.

While old VW's aren't my thing, that car is simple and clean. They way cars should be!

Thanks. Yes that was the plan was a simple clean, early rabbit. When went with some of the simple euro touches that we didn't get in the states. By the mid 80's they really started to gaudy up these cars from the factory. They early ones are the simple clean ones.

You have an awesome eye for automotive styling.
I'd walk past a million of those Rabbits and say no way, but you made it cool. Well done.

Cant wait to see more of that awesome pace car.

Yes now that this is done, I have started tinkering a bit on the Pace Car. Next big project is to buy the new wire harness for the car.
