So i know its going to be about 50/50. Either you are going to love the look or absolutely hate it. I posted it on facebook and moddedmustangs a week or so ago so i figure ill get about the same response. Well, im making an inlet to accommodate an old school butterfly scoop that will poke its head through the hood. The first pic its just sitting on the hood where i thought it was going to be. Well, after i made the flange and mocked it up it will sit about an inch lower that what is in the first pic. and everything will be painted black. Like i said, mock up.

So just wanting to see your guys response. and yes, it should work. There is enough piping before the maf that it wont be real turbulent and should get a clean reading.

I like the fact that it is actually going to be functional, but I don't know if the lines of a new edge work with this. I'm curious to see finished pics though. I don't hate it, but kudos for being different.

I think most people are going to tell you no. Only because its something you never see and changes the physical outline if the car. However, I think it looks awesome with the color combo, and I bet if people started seeing these on more new edge mustangs, it would grow on them.

Its different. I kinda like it. I think if it were a plain GT with some big and littles, it would go better with the theme, but I say do it...
