I just got home and what's on my doorstep? Ford racing gears. I'm pretty excited. But god damn these things are heavy

Gears, install kit, two bottles of royal purple and friction modifier for 233. I say, best deal so far

That is a pretty good deal. I like my good old stock gears, but should be sweet!

I never used the friction modifier when I ran royal purple, it's not really needed when using RP..

3.73s are fairly popular on '03-'04 Cobras. Gears are more beneficial at the track than they are on the street, especially for daily driving. Let us know how you like the swap once it's done.

I definitely will bob. But ill tell you this, it's been so long since I've driven the cobra that I almost forget how it drives now with stock gears..... Almost. Next time it breaths it'll be with all my mods. Posi with 2.96 and 4# lower. So I'm hoping its like a whole new car.

I'd love to run corn and I could if I bought it buy the barrel. Three factors keeping me away. All evidence supporting my factors are off of what I've read. A: closest station is 45 minutes away. B: afraid it will corrode everything cause my car sits more then moves. C: see A and B above

45 min. is a long way....I went back to 93 for the winter time! You would be good to go from Spring to Fall with the E-85 in the car! Gotta love the Corn!

Even in the spring through fall it sits more then moves lol my ultimate goal is to be close to 1000 whp before I see 20k miles which only leaves me 6k and some change before I hit that mile marker
