I'll track the two of you down when the next order arrives. I've got 4x the number I originally had coming in both stainless and 4340.

I finally had the opportunity to take care of a few things with the car as well as pulling photos from my camera. One thing I wanted to share was how happy I was to use Motive's power brake bleeder. I've bled brakes a number of different ways over the years but had yet to use a pressurized system at home. Quite simply, it rocks. Clean and relatively quick and I took the time to clean everything with denatured alcohol once I was done.

Keep your eye on the plastic locking tabs around the mout of your Master Cylinder reservoir. The billet cap sits so tight and has sharp edges on the tabs inside that like to shave away the plastic tabs on the reservoir.

I was using mine fairly often (bleeding before every track day) on both cars, and found that the billet cap was pretty rough on the reservoir with plastic tabs.

Also keep an eye on the hose after a year or so. Mine had a tiny crack after some time that caused a break fluid leak on the inner fender after getting pressurized.

Ford Racing/Borla exhaust system showed up a day early. Very high quality as it should be given the price.

They had quality issues with this part number early on. Borla recognized it publicly and assured everyone that changes would be incorporated to improve bends, cuts, etc. The system I got has a date of December 12, 2016 which made me a bit nervous prior to unboxing. The box itself and the packing list said the part was for "MUST GT 2015 5.0L V8AT/MT RWD 2DR" which made me a bit nervous but the contents were clearly for the GT350.

Been a while and I've made a number of changes. Here's a few of them.

Finished the Borla system. I welded half of it and as such didn't use all of the clamps. System works perfectly.

Added the R rear sway bar. Slightly larger diameter.

I also picked up both R and FRP springs. R drop is allegedly negligible and FRP claims 3/4" front and rear. I haven't decided which I'm going to use. Following shot is of rear springs, R in black and FRP in blue.

I pulled off the front fascia, belly pan, and splitter. Dimensioned and fabricated a centered mount for a tow hook.

Did the oil line recall myself. No way I was letting anyone else do it.

Trimmed the upper grille block-off plate to allow more airflow to the airbox and filter.

Added the R splitter. Very nice piece and easy to install. A few taps with a mallet and everything seated exactly as it should. How dealers are screwing these up I will never know. A child could do it.

I picked up another decklid from Mike at Autonation that I plan on painting and using in conjunction with an R rear wing I have coming from C2C. Demand for these has been exceptionally high so the wait is a little longer than usual but I can't wait to get it on!

I go by how much dust is on the hood. Presently there is about 7/32" on it. To put that in perspective, the typical abandoned house in Chernobyl averages only 1/4" of dust on an open floor.

:)

I'll have to look. Maybe 4,000 plus or so.

I'm leaning towards never. I think I may use the R springs I have on hand instead. But before I get started on the springs, I'll be picking up some custom length wheel studs from MSI Racing (same company that makes the caliper studs for Caliperfexion), a DSC Magride controller from Filip at Cortex, and most likely a carbon fiber driveshaft from QA1.

In the meantime, here's some pretty pictures of the car cover lingerie I picked up from Covercraft. The factory cover that came with the car rejected the new wing/splitter bulge combination so I snagged this one from the Mustang Depot.

I liken it to Sofia Vergara braless in an undersize tee-shirt. Sewn by Mexico's finest, it should see some wrinkle reduction now that it is out of the box and stretched out over the car.

OK. Enough pretty stuff. More nitty gritty when the checkbook allows.

Awesome. I have been having withdrawals without Tob's posts lately. Was so used to seeing all your work on the previous mustang, it was hard to get used to not seeing much with this one. We need MOAR!

Looking at adding a QA1 CF driveshaft next.

:)[/QUOTE]

Do you know of anyone has done the driveshaft and run the car hard at trackdays?
