I never joined Facebook and listening to my friends I'm glad I didn't.
The thing is that stupidity isn't just online. I was at a meet a couple weeks ago and someone called a GT500 a Cobra. I corrected them and continued walking to my car. They were totally confused.
I think the one I like the best is when I killed a GT350 owner's ego. A local show used to have a spot just for the Cobras. We got crap for it, but it was still the most visited spot in the show. He tried to say if he was going to that show he'd be parked there. I said he wouldn't and his argument was that he has a snake on his car. I said that's true, but it's not a Cobra. I think he almost cried.

I just joined a whiskey club at our local restaurant. When the manager was giving me all the deets, he explained that updates and specials would be posted on their FB page. I told him I never have and never will have an FB account. He laughs and says the 19 other members said the exact same thing but the owner thinks FB is the way to go. lol. So, for now, they are sending updates via e-mail. I'm such a boomer. lol
I haven’t had social media since I deleted my MySpace in 2011 ish. I do have a YouTube account if that even counts.

FB, Tiktok, Instagram, etc I feel was a tragic misstep in human evolution. Even YouTube is pretty much crap now.
I cancelled my FB account a couple of years ago. Don't miss it at all. I'm must happier without it. I'm hating social media more each day. It all does more harm than good.

I had a buddy message me the other day about this comment. I told him that's why I haven't been on Facebook for weeks.
And honestly, I'm trying to get rid of it completely. Generally I seem more happy without it.
