I owned an iphone 4s i think for a span of 24 hours, never hated apple so much in my life thing was awful.

What exactly is so awful? I use my phone like a typical person. Surf the web, make calls, look at porn on my lunch break, buy car/truck parts, play games. I have a 4s that I got when they first came out (so a touch over 3years) and it has worked perfectly. Clearly I am not doing anything crazy with it but for the normal user why are they so bad? (asking simply to know..i am not a phone guy for the most part)

its so tiny man i couldnt stand it. it was slow compared to androids at the time as well. if i cant watch porn in 1080p or greater im not happy hahaha but in all seriousness i just dont like apple interface or anything. i mean they stole android notification pull door and etc. the iphone 6 finally has nfc which android has had for 4 years? maybe more. they are a step behind imo. when they dont their entire level phone has 750 resolution and they ask what they are asking it isnt worth it. only thing i like is their internal memory options. wish my note 4 could have a 64 or 128 gb internal

I've loved my iPhone 5S and would never go back to Android (as it is right now) or any phone made with plastic. The iPhone 6/6+ build quality is heads above all the other phones. I'm up for an upgrade with my carrier so I just have to decide whether I want the 6 or 6+. I like that I can do more day to day stuff on the larger 6+ screen, but it is likely difficult to carry in your pocket and handle. I think the 4.7" screen would be fine, but I like the 5.5" if I intend to use more apps more regularly, vs. using it primarily for phone calls and texting.

For those who will definitely buy the 6+, are you confident that the phone will fit easily into your pockets? I've never owned a phone larger than 4.7" (HTC One).

Android stole a bunch of crap from iPhone's as well. They all steal/copy from each other and in reality its ok, its always better to have big features from other phones instead of doing something crappier and being stuck with it.

32GB internal should be standard and for me its perfect as long as it has SD support. Pics and vids take 70% of my storage so that stays in my SD for easy swap, internal space is used for apps.

also never understood why people complain about each stealing features from the other. if one phone has a great feature, then the other copies it and improves it, and the cycle continues back and forth, how is that bad?

It's not at all, im in for it. Like I said, im glad Apple finally gave NFC a shot. That is something im really looking forward on how everything will change.
Something I never understood about Steve Jobs, he hated Android because of how similar it was and well still is in a way to iOS. Can you imagine a world where you can't copy/steal ideas? TV's, cars, etc would be nothing like what it is now.

Specs on paper don't always mean better performance.

It has in my case.

Every car with increased power, has been quicker and faster.
Every PC/LapTop I have purchased with "better" specs, has.....well, performed better.
Every phone I have ever purchased, with...well, better stats.....has - yes, performed better.

I started with the Samsung Vibrant. First of the Galaxy line. I swapped from an iPhone, because I wanted the modding of Android....and the Vibrant was a direct rip-off of the iPhone.

It has just gone from there. Had all the "SGX" phones....had an HTC One....and now have a Note, as I graduated from the "phones"....and am now on the "phablet" level.

The Note 3 I have right now blows anything I have ever touched, out of the water. It is incredible everywhere.

THE only thing I don't like about my Android experience - is, the bloatware and "gimmicks" just keep getting worse. Not that it affects the performance of MY phone...but it is just annoying. I was ready to hop onto the Apple train again......but, I am not paying a premium price for "the best".....when it's already behind.

I don't understand why people bitch about how bad Android is when they're using the Galaxy s2/3, etc. Something that's 3+ years old probably isn't going to perform like something that's just now coming out. Phone tech is constantly getting better, quicker, etc. Saying anything definite right now is just bs. You haven't had either phone and neither has anyone else....so how can you say Apple is better than Android or vise versa. Both will likely be awesome phones that will make you happy 99% of the time. I'd bet a majority of the 'trouble' people have with their phones are user error or just a faulty phone. It's going to happen to someone..

I did not go through all 5 pages but did anyone mention colors? Will it just be the standard black and white?

I was interested in the 6 plus, but looking at the dimensions, I dont think so, I currently have an htc M8, the 6 plus is a good bit larger and even heavier than the M8, no thanks, if I move to Apple, it will be the 6

Specs don't mean much to me. My note 2 has more RAM and a higher megapixel camera, however, both my Wife and i agree her phone is much smoother, loads pages faster on wi-fi (Being equal) and has a better battery life. I love my Note 2 for the size and sleekness of it, but, once the 6 is available for Pre-order, I am ordering one and never looking back.

i need something simple as i thought I would root my note, unlock its features, but, never got around to it and after testing a few phones that were rooted, I still didn't feel like it improved anything or gave me that wow factor from doing so.

I respect android phones, but, after having an SG3, two iphones, now my note 2, I am moving back to Apple, most likely permanently.

Oh, and the SD card thing is a retarded argument. I went through 4 (four) SD cards, 2 of one brand, then one each of another brand. I lost over 1,000 photos/songs because all of them failed. It is expandable memory, but, unreliable memory IMHO. Internal memory is better and safer.

this is great, i cant wait to get rid of this POS note3. **** touchwiz, so tired of seeing the touchwiz has stopped responding errors. there is nothing fast about this phone, it is just as laggy as all android phones. the wifes s5 is the worst "phone" we have had. drops calls like a mother and drops wifi and 4g like crazy.

The 6 plus is thinner. And it weighs half an ounce more. People really factor in less than an ounce difference when purchasing a phone? If you have a 5 ounce phone or 6 ounce phone in your pocket, can you tell the difference? I'm asking honestly not being a dick as i've never factored in the weight of the phone when purchasing.

It is all opinion based, and those opinions seem to vary greatly sometimes. For example, the person above saying the Note 3 sucks - when, I think it is a beast. It is everything I have ever wanted in a phablet.

To be honest, I have never really had ANY issues with any of my phones, ever since I started using "smartphones".... Maybe some people know how to get around issues better. Who knows. I sure do see a lot of people say that "XXXXX phone sucks so bad!" - I've often had the same phone, and it was great for me.

Yeah, I was wondering the same.

When your 6+ gets here, we need to have a "meeting" about it.

I have not completely eliminated the possibility of jumping ship.

I thought the 6+ was slightly thicker.
