The number of elderly in that area is just tremendous.
Since you DID bring politics into the thread.....we have a GREATER obligation to take care of our OWN!We have an obligation them to help them in my humble opinion.
A better argument would have been the money thrown at student loan forgiveness, but I really want to keep politics out of this thread. Absolutely no need for it.
Thanks.
Yes, there are. What a sad past couple of days! The number of elderly in that area is just tremendous.

Guess what. When we leave tomorrow morning to drive back down to Naples we will be driving through the remnants of Ian. Beautiful.
Agree. I went through Andrew East of US1 and just north of Homestead back in 92.living through Sandy and seeing the amount of destruction it did in the north east I can't describe the grief I feel for all those in the affected areas

Well guys this is something I never want to go through or experience again. Our peak winds reached 140mph . We're all OK that's the most important thing. My house took a good hit but nothing that's not repairable. I need a new roof, pool cage most likely needs to be replaced, vinyl fence needs to be replaced, my wife's car got a good scratch in the windshield that will have to replaced. So glad everything with my house is category 5 rated. Still have no electricity could be weeks or more they said. Water just came on today but still have to boil. Again main thing is we're all sill here.
