Finally got the tubs in. They still need to be seam sealed, but at least they are welded in.

Cage goes in this week...

You guys are insane.. :) I love it!

I thought I was crazy, spending 15K to build my last motor/blower/trans combo!

The car belongs to shhak the original poster. He is so busy with work so he asked me to help him keep the project going. He asked me to build him the parts needed for the turbo kit.

A few more pictures we can do.

Oh yeah... I love progress...

Hopefully my lifts and dyno will go up next week. So maybe I'll have a little more time to work on the car once Jon is done fabbing all this up.

Part of the 4" stuff came yesterday....... I'm very disappointed. The rest will be here today. If its like what Ive seen so far, it may all have to go back. Very disappointing after waiting all this time to get it.

A few new pictures as progress continues. Headers are 1 7/8 stainless into 3" collectors. Charge pipe is 3" stainless hand merged into a single 4", after the fire wall it will be finished in alum to the cooler and back to the throttle body down under the passenger seat. Cooler will sit in the back seat. The cooler (pt 3000) was on back order so we had to order Precision cores and we will build it ourselves. This will be nice so we can adjust the measurements for a perfect fit in the passenger back seat area. The dumps start as 3" stainless and swedge up to 4" as quick as possible. They will exit through the fender just under the cobra emblem.

Forgot to update the post here. We have been working away at it slow but steady. Nearly every part is now in hand. I hope to be done the end of next week.

Looks like it's just about finished...

If anybody is looking to have a truly custom turbo setup built, you should really give Jon a call. He has been great to work with. Kept me up to date all the time and sent me pics and text messages daily.

I'm definitely happy I decided to have Jon do this for me.

He sent me a text the other day. The engine is now 100% done. It had to go back to bridge racing to get the external oil pump installed. They have completed wiring up the car. All that was left is the plumbing and some other odds and ends. He figured fire up in 2-3 weeks. I cant wait to see how it does.
