A couple V6 Coupes showed up today. Black and white automatic cars -- Both with $26k stickers.

Here are some pictures of those and some more of the blue GT vert as it was in the shop for its pre-delivery inspection. It's got over 5k in "electronics options". Note the air intake tubing that gets routed back to the firewall closest to the driver. This is to amplify the air intake noise because the exhaust is so quiet. LOL

Maybe in the pony car segment, but remember the PT Cruiser? The Viper could even be considered retro.

Don't forget the Plymouth Prowler. I read that Chrysler was set to unveil an entire line of retro cars in the 90s but scrapped the plan only leaving the PT and Prowler to hit the showrooms.

wow thats one ugly car.....and a $40,000.00 gt????? They have lost their mind.

welcome to government control and inflation

the government doesnt want us to have these cars anymore so the easy way around this is to price them out of range

A grabber blue V6 showed up today at our local dealer, I think they are going to over use that color. It was sitting next to a GT500KR, $50k dealer markup on that car, WOW !!!! I would not pay $139k for a Mustang unless it was a vintage trans am race car or some other rare one. I grabbed a couple 2010 brochures, about as close as I am going to get to one right now. I am sure there will be a few at Knott's next weekend.

You would think in this economy that they wouldnt price these cars so high. As far as i am concerned, i wouldnt buy a new mustang GT until they put a better motor in it. i.e. DOHC 5.0
