That's just what I had pulled from some of their links.

I also went with Lund's E85 tune so it includes the N gauge, I don't know what steedas pricing is.

Just going with a set of BBK long tubes and a $120 x pipe and you are in the $700 range for exhaust. Wheels and tires could obviously be found much cheaper as I was just looking at list price.
I agree you could for sure do it even cheaper than $5500 with different brand stuff, I was pricing by the ones in the Steeda car..

Just saw this.

It's up in Canada, the DA was -600 from what I can see.

Cold air intake
Big and littles
tune
94 octane pump gas
Lowering springs

Car has nothing pulled out of it.

From what I was reading, this car ran an 11.5@123 with big and littles only and a 12.0@119 on the stock 235 all seasons (not in drag mode, car wouldn't hook, which likely accounts for the low trap).

Fast cars, it’s nice to know what your money gets you now. Seems like yesterday when my Cobra was the top dog at 36k... now there are $40k Civics and Focus’s and a GT is 50k

The biggest problem I have jumping into a 2018 is that to make up for the hideous exterior, and no offense to anyone who has one (I don't even like the '15-17 cars appearance-wise, and I own one), it would have to have the digital dash, which more or less makes it a $50-60K GT (because it has to be a Premium with 401A). Then it has to have that wonderful 10R80, and that's more too.

I am highly considering a 2019 Bullitt though.

What cost $36000 in 2004 would cost $47628.72 in 2017. Plus a stock Cobra ran high 12's stock. Considering this was 14 years ago, it is still damn impressive. Not arguing, just providing some interesting facts.

My short amount of time in the car business has taught me that it is very hard, nearly impossible even, to purchase a new car seen online at the heavily discounted price once you're actually there and talking a deal. Maybe it has everything to do with the dealership I worked at, but regardless. The '18 isn't so much of an improvement in any category for me to actually entertain the idea of trading my 6R80 '17 GT anyway.

Fair enough but it won't be an extra 20k out the door

Go drive one...

Your drivetrain and mine share nothing in common.

Only similarities is how they look and most chassis bits.

I have. At the point I am with my car though, a stock '18 doesn't touch my '17. And really, that's what we have to compare to. How my car runs as-is compared to how a stock '18 runs. No doubt they're quicker stock for stock and mod for mod, but could I really justify the additional expense of returning my car to stock and transferring all of my goodies over to the '18, plus the purchase price? Absolutely not.

Love the potential of the the drivetrain. Want the 18+ 5.0 and 10speed in a Fox or New Edge car sooo bad

Wonder if we'll ever be to get a PCM tune that will allow a 10R80 to be put in a Coyote powered S197.

Still cheaper than a GT.
Depends on options.

If you go gt with the same options as your cobra...

Gt premium, leather, no nsve, gt pp level 1, 10 speed.

Faster stock than a terminator, cheaper when adjusted for inflation, better optioned.

What I’m saying is, it’s not the top trim level. We’ll have to see what the GT500 is priced at to see the top dog. The new GT is deffinitly beast though, no doubt. I’m very impressed, too bad I just can’t get into the styling.
