I am looking to sell my 93 cobra, and was wondering what you guys think I should ask for it? It does have a salvage title and 115k, but I have over 11 grand tied up in her. She looks good, but needs some body work (doors aligned etc..) and paint. She also needs the rear interior. I have...
I understand that afr 165 heads are good for 100 hp (reported at their website). Since the heads were compared to gt-40 heads that are on a mustang, I would assume that they would bolt right on the lightning and provide significant gains. My question is - will the speed density freak out and...
Thanks again all for the help you gave regarding "need trans help." I bought an XTD lightweight flywheel and cobra clucth, and installed them on friday night. All is well, and I can shift smooth as ever  I do want to mention that before I chose to go ahead with the lightweight flywheel...
I have my cobra with the factory trans. I have changed the oil in it a while ago to flush it, and then refilled with mobil-1 synthetic auto-trans fluid. The clutch is kind of weak (probably factory). My problem, is that the pig is getting really hard to get into any gear. Any suggestions/...
1) My 115k Cobra has factory 3:08's and were making some clanking noises on/off the gas and I had a nasty vibration at freeway speed. I dumped in some 85w - 140 semi-synthetic + modifier, and the noise is gone, and the vibration is reduced.
2) Maybe obveous to some, but Globals trac-link...
just thought I would let everyone know I installed the global west traclink. The install was a pain, because I did it in my driveway which limited my work space. It seems to work well, and I only have to play with the pinion angle now. I am running it without the uppers, and this helps reduce...
I have a set of billet four lug 1" wheel spacers (bolt (2) bolt) for sale. I have hardly used them. I would like to get 150 for them..... Anyone interested, I paid 180 to have them made.
Alright, I think my limited slip is wasted, because it is a one wheeled star for burn-outs. Anyway, I was thinking of changing the oil in the diff. and at the same time putting in new clutch disks. Does anyone know how difficult this actually is to do. It seems simple, however, looking simple...
Anyone know where I can get the panels for my hatch area? I need the two big side ones, and the two rear ones to finish my cobra. I would like to get black one, but I am having a hard time finding any for sale. Any ideas?
I realize that this is not where we sell stuff, but these adapters came off my 93 cobra and worked well. I thought I would just let you cobra guys know that they are on ebay if you are interested. Sorry if this irritates anyone...
I am fairly sure that my cobra has the factory trans, and I changed the fluid about three months ago after I bought the car. I put a semi synthetic auto trans fluid in, but it is a hard shifting clunker when the cars not moving. Any suggestions? Maybe a different fluid?
