I can't believe this is the first time I'm seeing this build thread. This build is amazing and I can't wait to see the end product. All the custom work you've done is the type of skill I really wish I had. Great job dude!

Well I've been swamped with everything else besides the car right now. I haven't had much time to do anything really. I finished the charge pipe and BOV location plus ordered a bunch of fitting, fuel injectors, fuel pump etc...

70lb injectors
Walbro 400
1/2" (-8an) hard line for fuel rail to regulator
Aeromotive A1000 "platinum" regulator
Tons of misc fittings for various shit and probably no where near enough..

A good way to spend over $1500

Still have a little of fab work to do on the turbo kit itself. I'm not that far from being able to wire it up and fire this thing.. Still shooting for the summer.. Might have to drive around with snowboarding goggles on without a windshield for a little while haha.

Hopefully I'll have more updates soon.

I may have missed it but is there is a reason why you are using 70lb injectors and 400 pump? Is it to stay with the factory ECU? If so that makes complete sense and I understand. Just wondering.

My turbo Viper has 160lb injectors and two 450's (pumps) but I'm running ProEfi ECU with flex fuel so I can run both E85 and regular gasoline (93 etc).

Look forward to the final result!

Finally getting back to work!

Been a while since I've been able to work on the car.. Home projects for the upcoming summer had me busy in my spare time but those are all finished so I get to take up the garage and see if I can finish this thing! My wife gave me the go ahead on taking the garage for as long as the weather is warm so that's a major help with work space! One day I'll own a piece of property with enough land to build a shop, for now this'll do!

Got the car all situated and started where I left off on the down pipes. They were too close to both the shock tower (passenger side) and touching the brake booster on the driver side. I took my tig torch and heated up the areas I needed to move and "messaged" them with the hammer and dolly. Still need a little more under the brake booster but I got the passenger side perfect. I also welded in the o2 bungs for a dual wideband setup.

So I only got a couple hours tonight to work on it but the next two days I'll work on it quite a bit! Stay tuned!

Sorry I must have missed this post..

Yes I'm staying with the factory ECU since I'm not going over 14psi and staying with the stock motor. If I ever build the motor and turn it up I'll upgrade the pumps and injectors at that time..

Got a few more things done.. I'd say 90% of the hard fabrication is done. Turbo kit is pretty much all finished. Just need a couple small things. Problem is I just don't have much time to work on it. If I had a good month of time off I could knock it out! But that's a far fetched idea haha..

Here's what I got done tonight.

I ended up needing more room than i originally thought for the brake booster and lines so I decided to cut a notch out of my down pipe.. I really didn't want to do it but I had to.. I have room on the bottom side so "add" a notch to account for the loss in tube size with the notch cut out..

I took my grinder to the downpipe and the started forming a piece of 16ga 304 stainless..

After I finished that I enlarged the hole on the passenger side where the stock air box was to accommodate my larger (too big) filters. I copied the hole onto the other side and cut that out as well. Got my filters installed but they are too large to fit behind the fenders. I already have a smaller set on order.

This is pretty much what it'll look like! Obviously there are all the vacuum lines, hoses, and wiring but it's one step closer..

I also got the "corners" cut off the mufflers and re welded to keep them away from my driveshaft.

I still have a lot more to do but that pretty much finishes the turbo kit.

The fab work alone blows me away, let alone the sum total of the parts going in it. That spoiler you did is super nice looking as well.
