Yes K&N drop in comes with it. Which is no good to me because i run an AFE synthetic drop in.

yes this happened to me as well. got it over the phone like you.

tired to get into a dealer today for install and they looked at me like i was crazy when i had a GT and not a BOSS. time to find a new dealer.

I figured i wasn't the only one,lol

I had the track key, sidepipes, and FRPP racing mufflers installed. I have put over 100 miles on it since. No problems. The key did not come with install code. bit was taken care of quickly by Ford Racing.
The lope idle just gets better as everything gets broke in. The sound is great. quite with the windows up, and no resonance at all. The car only had 500 miles on it when installed. There was no noticeable drop of power at low rpm's. At highway speeds in 6 gear there was the most noticeable gain.
I had a 12 GT500 with the 302 sidepipes and stock mufflers. This definitely sounds better.

Pro Cal tuner, Trac Cal SIM card and EO Decal arrived today. :) I have a tentative appointment for next Tuesday at the dealer for installation.

A Boss Mid pipe is something I'd consider if it was cheap considering it's for sound.

Any of you already have or are getting a separator to use with the track key?

I had the track key and exhaust put on ten days ago. The car had about 600 miles on it. Just got back from a short 1200 mile road trip. Not one problem. I tried both the regular key and track key on 200 mile legs. No noticeable difference in gas mileage. Interior sound level had very little increase in sound level. It really showed the difference when you are in Northern Minnesota on a two lane highway passing a truck or trying to outrun a tornado.

:) Reminds me of a story of my father in his 70 Road Runner out in Kansas outrunning a tornado. The police were too so no ticket that day.

Dealer loaded the Track Cal Tuesday. Since then my air conditioner cycles cold to hot to cold. Fan speed is constant. Called Ford Racing this morning. They said they would call me back. Anyone else observe this?

This might be a stupid question, but does anyone know if the track cal can be loaded on the 2014 cars built after the July cutoff? Mine has a build date of September 2013, so I can get the key. I just don't know if I have the option of going with the cal instead, in case it's something I wanted all the time.

Use the track key with your 2014.5 car. When you don't want the tune just use the regular key. The 2014.5 Track Key is cheaper as well. No reason for you to have the Track Cal.

I've got this happening with my Track Cal too. Keep us posted on what Ford Racing says.
