Like ford bringing the fastback look and adding some square to the tail end... Since S197, only saleen has gotten the rear end right looks wise. I like it but hate the direction that new car styling is heading with all the Kias and Hyundais:(

Im on the fence right now. Not sure what to make of it. I think ill just continue to sit up here on the fence until I see it in person and see some real world numbers, like 1/4 mile times, braking ability, and id definitely like to know more about the IRS, as in, is it a good one?

It's not designed for a U.S. market, that's why it looks the way it does.
.
For all those that like the new design, it's time to arrange for a loan.
Saying you like it but will wait for a 16 or later MY is a " fail " for Ford.....( success = sales )
.
Someone will buy it.....................but there won't be one in my driveway !!

I love it, the front end needs a different grille, but I love the rear and the more fast back look it has.

rear-end looks like an accord - def not a fastback - way too low.

drop the lights a bit. the front end is horrendous. smooth the front valance. grille looks good. rear end should be like 05 mustang. 16" wheel's and fat tires black steelies with grabber blue would look mean as hell. get rid of the black plastics. I don't want skinny tires and massive wheels. I don't want to look at your brakes, the steering wheel? with all of those buttons I hope that car will take me to the moon. holy hell that's a lot of buttons. again ford missed out.

I like it. I think I may find myself in a GT come 2016. I will give it year or so to iron some bugs out. A SVO edition would be nice...

Doesn't matter to me one way or the other but I think it sort of looks a little like a bmw 6 series

I love it! I know the 2015 will have the 5.0, and I hope Ford continues to produce these motors and not discontinue them in favor of eco-boost technology (yuck!). The IRS is something that I (and many others) have wanted for a long time and I'm glad its finally here. I'm also very interested for more info on the GT350, as I will probably go that route in 2016. I also want to wait a year while they work out any mechanical issues and add design improvements, as they typically do.

The car they rolled out looks like it sat pretty low (no 4x4 gap) which is nice. I think Ford did a nice job with the aggressive styling on the front end ensuring that it looks more like a Mustang and less like a Fusion. I also like the profile view, especially the cockpit design. From the back it looks okay, but I will reserve my judgement on that until I see all the models/options available.

finally here.........really...99 SVT IRS...Brent had one of the first in Texas up at Hilcher Ford in Arlington, TX

I am quite pleased with the new Mustang. The interior is better than I expected. I like that Ford did not go to DI on the 5.0 liter engine. The 5.0 will be much easier to mod without DI. It will be fun to try out the new IRS.
