we installed the lower without any of the bars, 12 hour road trip, no issues.

and I will honestly say that is great to know!! But the part comes with everything and if you don't need it... why spend the money. That's what everyone and even me are looking at.

For eveyone else, The ROUSH lower is the price because it isn't just a open center section. It also has links and a bracket for stability. And with air flow, you need something stable to hold it together. It is also designed to run with the ROUSH heat exchanger. From what I have seen, modifying it to fit other intercoolers or heat exchangers will be needed. That is what was done in the picture of the green one.

But at the moment, any N/A ROUSH heat x, or nitrous owners, this is the way to go.

Good info Steve, I literally was buying the Roush open lower from AM and saw your post. As you know, we are running that huge Intercooler for the Turbo and worried about clearance. I guess we can see how it goes and report back. I'm already rocking the CDC open upper, and was hoping the Roush lower would work well.

Thanks!

Delivery date is supposed to be on Monday. It is supposed to be black.

Did you see the tri bar pony emblem I put on mine that I plastidipped in anthracite? Looks pretty nice

Please let me know. I know it's supposed to be black but mine is grey. I called AM and they said it's normal. Any pictures I have seen it looks black.
Friend told me to get some adhesion promoter and spray it matte black but I'm waiting to see what others have got.

I have not seen your emblem, is it in this thread?

For your car or anything with an intercooler, this idea is almost needed IMO. Just know that modification's may be required. I may still bite the bullet and order one and see what is needed over working on one that is cheaper

Yeah I agree, especially with the heat from the Turbo. We will report back on the fitment and how it goes.

So I saw on another forum someone claimed if you remove the front bumper cover you can remove the fogs and such without cutting. Is that true at all? Still on the fence about doing that.

Yes sir that is true. You can remove the bumper and take off the brackets. Its 3 screws.

Thank god haha. The 2013+ isn't any harder to remove than the 11-12 is it? My 2011 only took me about 5 minutes to remove. Is there something extra on the 13 that makes it preferrable to hacksaw things?

I working on modifying the lower grille now. I can tell you flat out that it's a PITA.

I plan on glassing it for stability. Reason is once you cut the honeycomb out the piece of plastic wants to collapse on it's self.

Supposed to be in tomorrow, I hope it's not gray. Only thing I got in on monday was some reflector tints and a 5.0 keychain lol. The splitter and delete come tomorrow

Here it is with a badge I put on. I was trying to figure out what I could put on but I came back to the regular tribar just colored

Well the roush splitter and delete came in. I'm very disappointed that the lower delete is gray....not black like it looks in the picture.

Here are both sitting next to each other. Guess ill have to paint the damn thing bc the gray sticks out like a sore thumb :fm: I got mine from AM, they must of got the garbage batch :??:
